Conference held at the Hilton Hotel in
Auckland.

The STARWEST conference for 2011 was held at
Disneyland Resort Hotel, Anaheim CA 5th and
6th October.
Qual IT's David Hayman took a keynote
presentation on the first full morning of the conference. "I
didn't know a knew that - a story of self
learning".
The audience was mainly from the USA but also
a number from around the world. Over 1,000 attendees and
for David's presentation there was over 500+ watching on
the web. David received a 4 Star rating from the web and
is waiting on feedback from the face to face audience but some
very positive responses.
There was lots of talk around 'new' topics in the
testing arena for example Cloud Sourcing, Crowd Sourcing, Mobile
Apps, Performance Testing and Test
Automation.
The main message from the conference was that we
should be moving with the times and upskilling in both development
and business test functions.
