Snr Test Architect/Engineer

Our client requires a capable Test Architech/Engineer to help:

• Design a test strategy which integrates into existing test infrastructure (focusing on architecture and functionality)
• Provide and implement a testing framework that ensures quality at all testing levels (unit, system and deployment)
• Implement test automation to support rapid build and deployment

The person should preferably have 2+ years experience in the following area's and tools:

• Behaviour Driven Development
• Using approaches such as Cucumber and languages such as Gherkin and Ruby
• Experience with Hudson including Sonar and Maven plug-in's etc
• XML/HTTP test design and implementation
• Prefer ex Java or Ruby developer

This role would suit an ex-developer or a senior Test Engineer, whilst experience with all the tools list above isn't essential, a proven track record of picking up new toolsets would be advantageous.  This is an opportunity to work on a large cutting edge project.  Aptitude is essential, working with a senior development team.
