Qual IT is New Zealand's largest independently
owned test consultancy with offices in Wellington, Auckland and
Hamilton. Our client base is spread all over NZ [and some in
Australia] and covers applications across all
spectrums.
We are looking for staff to join our dynamic team
of Testers, based in Auckland.
Due to our ever expanding client base and
frequent request from existing clients for more services we are now
recruiting testers at all levels as well as looking for candidates
with potential or desire to join the software testing
profession.
Key roles exist at Test Analyst, Senior Test
Analyst, Test Coordinator, Technical Tester and Performance Tester
levels.
To be
successful you will need the appropriate skills and attributes that
may include the following:

Experience with Test execution e.g., functional,
integration, regression etc
·
Good people skills, good communication skills and
can also work unsupervised with a good
initiative
·
Flexible mind and attitude to cope with potential
multi-tasking requirements
· Planning,
development, executing and reporting assigned test work
products
· Ensuring
risk and audit requirements are met
·
Ensuring adherence to the organizations test
processes and
methodologies
·
Measuring and reporting on application
quality
·
Applying knowledge and skills to ensure timely
delivery of scheduled work products
·
Contributing to the successful operation of the
IT Testing Services teams
·
Experience training and mentoring business
representatives in testing methodologies
·
Experience with defect
management

Desirable
·
Appropriate ISTQB Certification. However,
training will be provided to appropriate
candidates
·
Hands on experience of industry standard and
freeware test management and test execution
tools
