Who are Qual IT?
Qual IT is New Zealand's largest independently owned test
consultancy with offices in Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton. We
specialise in providing professional services in the areas of QA,
Software Testing, Technical & Infrastructure Testing and are
owned and operated by Testing Professionals. Qual IT has a client
base spread all over NZ (and some in Australia) covering
applications across all spectrums.
The roles:
We are currently looking for experienced Test Analysts (contract or
permanent) to join our dynamic and fun team of testing
professionals in Wellington.
We have a particular need for testers with industry experience in
government, banking, insurance, health and utilities.
Experience in the automation of functional testing and/or solid SQL
skills will make you a front runner, but are not essential.
You will however, have skills and experience in the
following:
Extracting and writing test
requirements
Functional, integration, regression and
UAT testing
Training and mentoring business
representatives in testing methodologies
Defect management
Fantastic documentation skills
Flexible mind and attitude with the
ability to adhere to our clients' test processes and
methodologies
Hands on experience with industry standard
and freeware test management and test execution tools
Our clients require our people to hit the ground running so you
will have at least three years' testing experience. You must also
be flexible and personable with great customer focus and impeccable
communication skills. Your testing knowledge will make you an asset
to any client and a great part of the highly professional but fun
Qual IT team. Certification in ISEB or ISTQB is highly
desirable.
